In bid to provide relevant and reliable education statistics, the Uganda Bureau of Statistics and the Ministry of Education and Sports (MoES) agreed to collaborate and develop a master list of all education institutions in the country at all levels.

Purpose of the listing

The main objective of this exercise was to develop a comprehensive list of education institutions at all levels to facilitate subsequent data collection efforts for the future censuses and surveys for the education and sports sector.
