Has got 2 divisions ;each headed
by an assistant commissioner namely
a) universities and polytechnics
b) Admissions an scholarships.

Appropriate policies, plans
and guidelines in respect of Higher Education, admissions and scholarships
formulated and implemented.

A developed and coordinated
higher education system that produces adequate skilled manpower for
national development.

A coordinated and fair
system for admitting students into institutions of higher learning.

A transparent and fair
mechanism for managing scholarships.
